I was in a conversation recently when someone said “Hope is not a strategy.” Though I had heard the phrase before it struck me as a reminder that success and progress is not solely reliant on mere optimism or wishful thinking. Preparation doesn’t guaranty a more successful outcome but it does provide the opportunity to achieve the best outcome possible.
